"Well... I am Aeternus Doleo. But that you know. I was born in Thebes,
a small village along the Nile river. The year then was 1523 BC. Life was good
there. The Nile flooded each year, bringing fertile ground to our farmlands.
It was at the age of 25 I lost my life. At least, that is how many call it these
days. But I live still."
I pause a moment, merely to let my words focus.
"The person I once was, has long since died. But this is who he was: Trecah
he was called. A bright mortal, even at young age. When the High Priest heared
of me, he sent for me to be taken into his custody. I learned there, many things.
My skills lied in constructing, he found.(and this I have not yet lost) So I
was educated to become an architect. I went on, since I liked it there. But
I realised I was little but a slave. For I was destined to construct the Pharaoh's
grave. And I would, once completed, go into it with him. Yet that didn't happen."
"I am glad 'tough, the way this life turned out for me. I have many friends
now, and not only that..." I look at Aphasia, and smile. "... then,
I have you forever, nay?" "You do Aeternus, and I have you."
I cannot help but kiss her. Then your presence pulls me back to the present.
"Well, now that you know, what else do you wish, to know of me?"
"Please, do tell me the tale of your life, milord." / "You have told me so much already, milord. It is late, and I must be on my way."
