| Notes: | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 1. Player must have a gem pick to mine gem minerals. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 2. Mined gem minerals will use the metal chunk icon. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 3. Cutting ratio is the amount of "cut" gems produced from cutting a gem mineral (when successful). | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 4. Player must have a gem cutter equiped at the gem cutting table to produce cut gems from gem minerals. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 5. Cut gems can be further refined by using the gem "detailing" table. (Detailing infers there is more than polishing that is done. Detailing can flaw a gem) | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 6. Player must have a gem detailing kit in their possession to use the gem detailing table. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 7. Player must have a gem detailing glass equiped to use the gem detailing table. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 8. The gem detailing recipes will require gem polishing solution, which will be used up. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 9. When detailing, failure will yield "flawed" gems, success will yield "fine" gems. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 10. Rough gems can be bought and sold by CMD merchants. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 11. Detailing will always yield something, but flawed gems are worth less than cut gems, making them risky to craft. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 12. Gem Dust is a byproduct of Gem Cutting. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
